Avignon Workshop
Avignon, ancient medieval city, which was the most important center of culture in the 14th century world. Now a charming town and the unofficial capital of Provence. Although this workshop is suited for beginners as well advanced students. You will work in the medium of your own choice, e.g. charcoal, pen, ink, or pastel, and all drawing materials can be acquired locally. The day is divided into 2 sessions. In the morning you will learn the techniques you will apply in the afternoon. The principles of drawing, thus all aspects which combine to arrive at a satisfying result based on composition, value, colour and technique will be covered. Subjects : portraits, life-drawing.
